Bought some pretty handmade buttons in Nishi-Ogikubo and turned them into my pop and casual earrings♡

西荻でかわいいハンドメイドボタンを見つけたので、早速、自分用のポップなピアスにしてみました。

羽二重餅のブックカバー by Mi

今日は羽二重餅を食べたら、かわいい人々が羽二重餅を作っている様子の包装紙があったので、しばた家工房で薄い豚革のブックカバーを作りました。

気の抜けた感じがかわいいので、鉛筆で描いてからマットニスでコーティング。
サイズがピッタリ過ぎて本を挟む時少し苦労しますが、その内伸びる事を見越して…！

ブックカバー、簡単で楽しいです。

Fitting shoes -> Room shoes By Chi

今回は、なかなか作りたい靴のイメージが固まらず、まず、左足のフィッティングシューズに試しでアクリル絵具で色を塗ってみました。何となくシャンパンゴールド。しかし、靴自体のデザインが想像と少し違ったので、また先生にデザインを少し調整してもらい、右足用のフィッティングシューズを作ることにしました。とにかく、色んなことを試してみたかったので、まず、適当に文字を書いてろうけつ染めみたいなこともしてみました。そして、革用の染色も試したかったので、その上から淡いピンク色に染めてみました。なかなか面白い。面白いのは良いのですが、左右かなり違い過ぎますよね。フィッティング用とは言え、かなり形になっているので、このまま底を付けてしっかり目のルームシューズにしちゃうことにしました。裏には、薄いゴム底を貼りました。冬は、中にファーとか入れてもいいかもね。迷走し過ぎたルームシューズです。

しかし、今回、色んなことをテストすることができました。アクリル絵具も、これからどうなるのか、履いてみてのお楽しみです。

New leather clutch By Chi

次の革靴は、自分で色をつけたいと思い、最近は試しにたくさん色つけしています。ただ無駄に塗るのは勿体無いので、必ず何か形にしていますが、肝心の靴のデザインはまだ決まらず、着々と靴以外のものが出来上がっています。

今回のクラッチバッグは、ある旗にインスパイアされて作りました。色合いや形が気に入ってそのイメージを私なりにアレンジして塗りましたが、結果的には、シルバーの旗が蛇足になってしまいました（笑）

色や空間のバランスって難しいとつくづく思います。書道を習っていた時に、空間のバランスが一番大事だと教わりました。全体のバランスが良いと、個々の字が下手でも上手く見える。バランス大事だなー。

でも、このピンクが綺麗に出て良かった！この色合いとクラッチのデザインが好きだから、良しとしよう！
因みに、これは、以前に作った銀色の帯で作ったクラッチと同じデザイン！何となく、このデザインが今は好き。

An initial charm on the backside is another point!

オレンジムーンストーンを使ったシンプルなネックレスを作りました。
ムーンストーンは心を落ち着かせてくれると言われています。そして、6月の誕生石でもあります♪
背面につけたイニシャルチャームもポイントです。

Diary cover for Mother By Chi

母用の革製手帳カバーを作りました。赤がラッキーカラーというのと、もういい大人なので、深めの赤にしました。毎日使ってくれてるようです。良かった！

I made a leather diary cover for my mother. I chose a deep red colour for her lucky colour is red and she is a "lady". I'm happy that she seems using it everyday!

Yoga pants for my friend By Chi

魔女系ヨガパンをリクエストされてましたが、なかなか魔女系が分からず、こんな可愛く仕上がりました（笑）横に思いっきりスリットを入れて、動き易くしました。
I was requested a witch-like yoggie pants from my friend, but I didn't quite get the image and it turned out very pretty:) Made big slits on both sides so that she can move a lot!

Revenge!! Key case/card holder!! By Chi

As per a request from my friend who lost a train card lately, I made an advanced key case that can hold cards and the key holder part can be taken off from. And you can also hook it around a bag handle. So handy!! This is the best design so faaaaar!!

最近Suicaを失くした友達からのリクエストで、以前作ったキーケースを更に使い易くしたバージョンを作りました。カードも入れられるし、キーホルダーの部分も取り外し可能だし、鞄の持ち手に引っ掛けることもできます。便利～（笑）これは今のところベストデザインだな！

梅雨があけ、暑さが戻って来ました！
絽の着物に紗の帯で お茶のお稽古。
お菓子は 源吉兆の「陸の宝珠」＆
京菓子工房 都の「柚子琥珀」です。
お花は竹籠に 「 木槿、赤まんま、水引の赤、笹、エノコログサ、矢筈ススキ
数珠玉、紫式部、紫露草」でした。
お棗は「亀藏棗」7月は七夕ですので
星にちなんで「亀藏棗」に致しました

Cha Cha Club - July 2012

The rainy season has ended and it's getting hot again!
I had a tea ceremony wearing Ro kimono and Sha belt (summer silk kimono&belt).

Today's sweets were "RIKU NO HOUJU (Sacred gem of the earth)" by MINAMOTO KICCHOAN and "YUZU KOHAKU (Citrus amber)" by MIYAKO, Kyoto.

Today's flowers were rose of Sharon, Persicaria longiseta, Mizuhiki grass, bamboo grass, green foxtail, herringbone patterned silver grass, Job's tears, Japanese beautyberry and Tradescantia in a bamboo basket.

Today's tea case (natsume) was Kizo natsume because we had Tanabata festival in July.

My first vegan ice cream By Chi

I didn't expect vegan ice cream can be this yummy!

Here is the recipe I tried:

370ml of Soy milk
100g of Momen tofu
6g of Tapioca starch
Pinch of Salt
95g of Maple syrup
50ml of rapeseed oil
Half a strip of vanilla beans
Some fresh blueberries

初めてのヴィーガン・アイスを作ってみました！こんなに美味しいとは思わなかったので、ビックリ！

今回使ったレシピは、これ。
豆乳 370ml
木綿豆腐 100g
タピオカ粉 6g
塩 少々
メープルシロップ 95g
菜種油 50ml
バニラビーンズ 1/2本

FUJIYAMA Cookies

We've got such pretty sweets from Mt. Fuji! Too pretty to eat! My friend selected adult tastes especially for us :) Elegant tastes for people like us!! Hehe.

すんごいカワイイ富士山のお土産を頂いちゃいました！可愛過ぎて食べるのがもったいない！わざわざ私たちのために大人な味を選んでくれました。大人な私たちにピッタリなエレガントな味わいでした（笑）

Afghan-tourmaline and pearl necklace By Chi

My first necklace with a beautiful stone "Afghan-tourmaline" and I put a pearl at the end of the adjuster so that I can enjoy the back of the necklace as well. I fell in love with the gentle green and pink colours in one stone at first sight♡

Tourmaline has a positive charge at one end and a negative one at the other, so it generates negative ions on frictions. And it is believed to be a powerful healer and a cleanser.

Can't wait to wear it!

初ネックレス！
アフガントルマリンを正面に、淡水パールをアジャスターの先に着けて、後ろからも楽しめるようにしました。この淡いグリーンにピンクが混ざっている石に一目惚れしてしまいました♡

トルマリンは、両端にプラスとマイナスを帯電し、摩擦でマイナスイオンを発生させるんだって。だから、癒しと浄化の作用があるんだって。

着けるのが楽しみ～！

Mountain vegetable MIZU from Akita By Mu

Have you ever heard of MIZU?
This is a very common mountain vegetable in Akita prefecture. Very juicy and crispy. We all love it but the thing is that we have to cook them as soon as they are delivered. Thus, a hard work required: peeling the skins is quite time-consuming...

This is how we cook at home.
1. Stir-fry with pork and bean noodles.
2. Lightly boil and mix them with salty kombu seaweed. Or just sprinkle a bit of salt.
3. The red bits (closer to roots) become very sticky, so we boil them lightly and chop them into very tiny pieces and finally mix them with miso. It goes very well with white rice! Mmm...yummy!

Homemade fig leave tea By Chi

Our fig has grown giant, so we had to trim off 1/3 of the tree.
Now that we got quite a lot of leaves, we dried them and made healthy tea! It's said to work for high-blood pressure, diabetes, irregularity etc etc...
But I can't say it's tasty, it rather makes me feel like a mountain hermit...I might try mix some dried figs later.

裏庭のイチジクの木がとっても大きくなってしまったので、木の3分の1ぐらいを切ることになりました。切り落とした葉っぱが沢山あるので、乾かして、健康茶を作ることにしました！イチジクの葉は、高血圧、糖尿病、便秘なんかに効くそうです。しかし、美味しいとは言えませんね。むしろ、仙人になったような気分になります（笑）あとで、乾燥イチジクを混ぜてみようかと思っています。

Leather key case/holder By Chi

Made a leather key case/holder slightly changing a design made by my leather teacher. Sometimes I want to carry keys without a case depending on a bag (Girlies, you know what I feel? Girls change bags almost everyday!), so I call it a "transformer-key case"! And I made a pocket on the back so that I can carry train cards etc...Aaaand I can hang it around a bag handle! Handy, huh?

革の先生が作ったデザインを少し変えて、革のキーケース／ホルダーを作りました。たまにキーケースから出して持ち歩きたい時があるので（女子にはこの気持ち分かりますよね？女の子はほぼ毎日バッグを変えますからね！）、＂トランスフォーマー・キーケース＂と呼ぶことにします。それから、後ろにポケットを付けたので、電車のカードなんかも入れておけます。そして、バッグの手の部分に付けておけるので、便利！
便利でいいでしょ？

Made some side pockets and made the liner spring pink!
